PROGRAM

Coordinated care services provided by the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services for individuals 15 to 25 experiencing any of the following symptoms for the first time:

 

  • Sensations (sight, smell, hearing, touch, or taste) that others don’t

  • Thoughts that don’t make sense

  • Suspiciousness or Fearfulness of Others

  • Feelings of being “cut off” from the world

  • Significant changes in behaviors that others may identify as not making sense

EARLY INTERVENTION

Yale School of Medicine (2015) revealed that research has demonstrated the effectiveness of early intervention for psychosis in reducing hospitalizations and improving outcomes.

A team based, recovery oriented approach to supporting adolescents and young adults experincing symptoms of psychosis
